so Belgium is the hottest country in Europe today, so why don't I make a must have list of products for this summer? The great thing about this list is that I have used almost all of these products myself and can tell you that they are up to date and work really well. There is something there for everyone, although I wanted to list a lot more, but then it would have become more of a personal wish list and I didn't want that. We can all scan the perfumery websites and drool over random expensive and good looking products, but sometimes it's nicer to get some actual advice on products. Also, I avoided turning this into a high end only list.
1. Clinique - Exfoliating Scrub (at the perfumery for € 26)
I just bought this yesterday and my oh my that was a lucky guess. I only need a dime size and the thick cream turns into a soft sand paper that polishes my skin like the best, leaving it squeeky soft!
2. Guerlain - KissKiss Lipstick - Extrait de Rose (at the perfumery for € 35,90)
If you're looking for a gorgeous looking flashy summer pink for your lips, then this juicy, shimmery and automatic lipstick will do.
3. Clinique - Pop Blushes (at the perfumery for € 20)
These blushes are pressed real hard and give a sheer, glowey and natural finish to the cheeks. The colors aren't too light and not too bold but all very fresh.
4. Caudalie - Hand & Nail Cream (at pharmacies at various prices)
This light hand lotion instantly sinks into the skin and leaves them smelling of muscat grapes, perfect for summer.
5. Clinique - High Impact Mascara Waterproof (at the perfumery for 24,95)
Clinique mascaras are quite good for the sensitive eye but still offer a good coverage? Plus, you can basically go swimming in it as it is highly waterproof.
6. Physician's Formula - Mosaic Bronzer (at the drugstore for 19,95)
This bronzer is buildable throughout the summer. Go lighter or darker as you prefer. It's quite smooth and tightly pressed so do use a stuff bronzer brush with this one.
7. Korres - Lip Butter in Wild Rose (I got mine on eBay for 12 euros)
I just recently wrote an article on products with rose, but I added this one on the list of this year because it's not very well known and yet it's such a great pot full of natural oils and vitamins, plus a stain that would bring the Maybelline Baby Lips to shame.
8. Collistar - Crio Gel Anti Cellulite (at perfumery for 42 euros)
Personally I haven't tried this one yet but it promises immediate lifting.
9. Lovea - Moisturizing UV Spray (19,95 at Holland and Barrett)
If you want a strong protection from the sun while enjoying a nice scent and hydration of the skin, try Loveas spray with Tahiti flower.
10. Davines - Vegetarian Miracle Conditioner (at Barberstore.eu for 45 euro per liter)
I just wrote a review on this great conditioner. It does wonders on stiff and brittle hair. Leave on for 10 minutes and experience the magic.
11. Physalis - Essential rose oil (17 euros at nature stores)
Whether it's your room you want to make seductive, your hair you want to soften or your skin you want to rejuvenate, rose oil is super versatile.
12. Balmain - Shine Spray (15 euros at Barberstore)
Looking for a quick shine spray that doesn't make hair greasy? This one is actually designed for hair with extensions, so if it works on that, it will work on natural hair too. It certainly works on mine. Just don't apply too much.
13. Collistar - Patchwork Eyeshadow (perfumery)
Did you know Collistar has an eyeshadow line? If this doesn't give you the eyes of a beach bronzed goddess then I don't know what will.
14. Biotherm - Aquasource Face Foam
This is a super foamy cream for dry skin that will plump that baby right up.
15. Lancome - Star Bronzer Intense
Looking for a more intense bronzer? This ashy bronzer might do. The smooth cool toned powder might just melt into your skin and give you that shizzled Lancaster look?
16. Clinique - Sheer Lipstick in Sprinkle Pop
This is a sheer, natural looking healthy pink lippy for your every-day daytime look.
17. Collistar - Firming Elasticizing Oil
With the help of sweet almond oil of the finest quality, Collistar will make your butt look plump in no time (at least that's what they promise). I have just purchased this and my first impression is that it smells of TicTac, a scent that I actually like, not sure if that would be the case for everyone. I only need a little because the oil sort of melts and moves around for a while so it kind of spreads. It's best to use it at night time.
18. Koh Gen Do - Aqua Foundation
Want dewy Liv Tyler skin? Then get the lightest shade of this foundation and mix it to get your costum match. This is the exact foundation that the most beautiful and most underrated woman in the world wears. So why aren't we all wearing this?
